Abstract Submission for the MANSAG 2026 Annual General Conference and Meeting

MANSAG 2026 AGC Abstracts now Open

Introduction:

Abstract submissions are now open for the MANSAG Annual Conference 2026, which will be held from 23rd to 24th October in Glasgow, UK. The Conference Theme is Bridging Borders Transforming Healthcare, Partnerships for Sustainable Health Systems with the sub-themes Collaboration, Global Impact,  Professional Development, and Family and Community Engagement. Deadline for Abstract submission is 23:59hrs on Saturday, 3rd October 2026. If you have completed a research study, audit, or quality improvement project, this is your opportunity to share your work. 
 
Registration to the 29th MANSAG Annual General Conference and Meeting is also open. Interested attendees may register for the Conference on our MANSAG 2026 Annual Conference page here. Additionally, kindly note that applicants whose Abstracts are accepted are required to register for the Conference here from 23rd to 24th October 2026. 
 
Attendees are invited to note the following key information about the 29th MANSAG Annual General Conference and Meeting:
  1. Deadline for Abstract submissions is Saturday, 3rd October 2026.
  2. Venue of the Convention is Marriott Hotel, Argyle Street Glasgow.
  3. Conference Dates are from 23rd to 24th October 2026.
  4. The MANSAG 2026 Annual Conference theme is Bridging Borders Transforming Healthcare, Partnerships for Sustainable Health Systems with sub-themes on Collaboration, Global Impact, Professional Development, Family and Community Engagement.
  5. Benefits of Abstract submission include the opportunity to present at a National Conference, potentially get published in a Medical Journal and network with colleagues.
  6. The top three Abstracts will be given Awards.
  7. MANSAG Regional Chairs with the highest number of Abstracts will also be recognized with a special MANSAG Award.

Additional Instructions:

Applicants are encouraged to note the following additional instructions for their Abstract submissions:
  1. Submitted Abstracts should be maximum 300 words. Abstracts that do not conform to the specified format will be rejected.
  2. Should be clear, concise and written in a professional language.
  3. Must be a completed work.
  4. May be submitted by a Healthcare Worker (i.e. Doctor, Dentist, Nurse, Midwife, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Radiographer, or other Allied Healthcare  Professional or Student.
  5. Selected Abstracts will be presented at the Conference. Presenting Authors must also be registered Participants of the Conference. Only abstracts from Authors who have paid their registration fees will be scheduled for presentation.
  6. Posters will be displayed using our electronic poster display screens.
Additionally, we recommend that all Abstracts must have the following subheadings:
  1. Title
  2. Background
  3. Objective
  4. Methods
  5. Results
  6. Conclusion
Authors may also include the names and affiliation of all Authors (this is excluded from word count). Please also highlight the presenting Author and others as follows:
  1. Presenting Author
  2. Submitting or Corresponding Author
  3. Other Authors
  4. Senior Author

Abstract Authors are requested to use the form below to submit their Abstracts. If you wish, you may use the “Save & Continue” option to save your current entries for later completion. You may return to you application via the provided Save and Continue link. You may also request for the link to be sent to you via email. Kindly note that your application will not be reviewed until it is submitted using the “Submit” button.

Upon successful submission of the Abstract Paper, each applicant will receive a unique Abstract Referemce Number. Authors will be notified of their successful submission and reference number on this page and will also receive a confirmation message via email.
