Our Constitution

The MANSAG Constitution was revised, updated and adopted at the annual General Meeting of the Organization on 26 October 2013. The Constitution provides the legal and operational framework that guides every aspect of our Association’s work. In addition, it sets out our objectives, membership categories and governance structures, detailing the powers of the Executive Committee, the work of Sub-Committees, the role of the Regional Chapters and the conduct of General Meetings.

By codifying transparent procedures for elections, finance and decision-making, the Constitution ensures accountability to members and alignment with UK charitable-association standards.

MANSAG was formed in 1997 after cross fertilization of ideas amongst Nigerian doctors resident in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Jide Menakaya was inaugurated as the 9th President of MANSAG at the 27th Annual General Meeting held in Manchester.

Here is a list of past Presidents of the Medical Association of Nigerian Specialists Across Great Britain.
