Dr. Mosun Fapohunda is the Treasurer of the Medical Association of Nigerian Specialists Across Great Britain (MANSAG).
Dr. Mosun Fapohunda is a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry, with endorsement in Substance Misuse Psychiatry. She is based at the Adult Community Mental Health Service in Watford, HPFT (Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, UK), where she works as a General Adult Psychiatrist. She provides outpatient, inpatient and addictions rehabilitation within private practice. Aside her core clinical role, she is part of the Medical Leadership Team; Clinical Director for Adult Community Services, a Teacher, Trainer, Mentor, Philanthropist, and Wellbeing Champion, providing clinical and Pastoral support to a range of multi-professional teams and lay people.
She serves on the board of a few charitable organisations and leads health campaigns with a focus on early presentation, stigma reduction, suicide prevention and improving access to mental health and addictions care. She is founder and CEO of a Mental Health Charity- RESPITE, and is affiliated with several professional organisations, including ABP-UK Association of Black Psychiatrists UK, and MANSAG- Medical Association of Nigerians Across Great Britain where she serves as Treasurer.
