Abstract Submission for the MANSAG 2025 Annual Scientific Convention

2025 MANSAG General Conference Abstract Submissions

Introduction:

Abstract submissions are now open for the MANSAG Annual  Conference 2025, which will be held from 24th to 25th October in Cambridge, UK. The Conference Theme is Strengthening Health Systems. Deadline for Abstract submission is Friday, 19th September 2025. If you have completed a research study, audit, or quality improvement project, this is your opportunity to share your work. 
 
Registration to the 28th MANSAG Annual General Conference and Meeting is also open. Interested attendees may register for the Conference on our MANSAG 2025 Annual Conference page here. Additionally, applicants whose Abstracts are accepted are required to register for the Conference from 24th to 26th October 2025. 
 
Attendees are invited to note the following key information about the 28th MANSAG Annual Scientific Convention and Annual General meeting:
  1. Deadline for Abstract submissions is Friday, 19th September 2025.
  2. Venue of the Convention is Cambridge Belfry Hotel and Spa, Back Ln, Great Cambourne, Cambourne, Cambridge CB23 6BW.
  3. Conference Dates are from 24th to 25th October 2025.
  4. Scientific Convention Focus is on Research studies, Audits, and Quality improvement projects in Health or Social Care.
  5. Benefits of Abstract submission include the opportunity to present at a National Conference, potentially get published in a Medical Journal and network with colleagues.
  6. The top three Abstracts will be given Awards.
  7. MANSAG Regional Chairs with the highest number of Abstracts will also be recognized with a special MANSAG Award.

Additional Instructions:

Applicants are encouraged to note the following additional instructions for their Abstract submissions:
  1. Submitted Abstracts should be maximum 400 words. Abstracts that do not conform to the specified format will be rejected.
  2. Should be clear, concise and written in a professional language.
  3. Must be a completed work.
  4. May be submitted by a Healthcare Worker (i.e. Doctor, Dentist, Nurse, Midwife, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Radiographer, or other Allied Healthcare  Professional or Student.
  5. Selected Abstracts will be presented at the Conference. Presenting Authors must also be registered Participants of the Conference. Only abstracts from Authors who have paid their registration fees will be scheduled for presentation.
  6. Posters will be displayed using our electronic poster display screens.
  7. The MANSAG Research Committee will provide support and run a Workshop and Q&A Session on Abstracts for Conferences. A Poll will be run on the 5th or 12th of September for this.
Additionally, we recommend that all Abstracts must have the following subheadings:
  1. Title
  2. Background
  3. Objective
  4. Methods
  5. Results
  6. Conclusion
Authors may also include the names and affiliation of all Authors (this is excluded from word count). Please also highlight the presenting Author and others as follows:
  1. Presenting Author
  2. Submitting or Corresponding Author
  3. Other Authors
  4. Senior Author
