I have been actively involved in MANSAG activities over the last 10 years serving as a local organising committee member in various events
organised in and around London and the South-East. After graduating from medical school - University of Ibadan Nigeria - I had my
postgraduate fellowship training in Obstetrics a & Gynaecology at the same institution. I had further training in the speciality in United Kingdom
before moving into the 'greener pastures' of General Practice in 1997. I am currently the senior GP partner, Dr Arayomi's Surgery in
Pitsea, Essex as well as been the Clinical Lead and Consultant in Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare, South West Essex Community Service, Basildon.
I am also a Consultant in Colposcopy to the Basildon & Thurrock University Hospital Acute NHS Trust. My areas of special interests are fertility
control, menstrual disorders, menopause, colposcopy and ultrasound. I am the General Training Programme Director(South Essex Area) for the
Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. I also serve as a
regional Faculty (FSRH) assessor for North-East Thames region. I am married to Funke, a dentist; and we are blessed with a daughter and twin boys.
